  6. I retie very often, at least once per hour minimum, take off a rod length and retie, but more often if my first 6 ft of line hit a rock, tree etc Also constant stretch of casting makes the line weak with heavy baits. I would never not retie for the entire fishing trip snaps and split rings for me are for action depending on the bait and it always stays on. I’ve tried snaps for convenience of changing baits made the snap weak and I once reeled up a triple trout to the boat to make another cast it fell off the snap during my back to the boat retrieve (burn, stop) and it sank to the bottom lol!!!
  7. If I sold a bait I usually ship the same day or the next day being the latest. I’ve had other people I’ve bought from take a few days avg but no longer then a week to ship it out and give me a tracking # any longer then that then they just don’t care and you should get your money back. Post office are closed on sundays but you can still print a label and throw it in the mailing box inside of usps Sunday night so it goes out early AM - It’s hard for some people to “mail” a package you don’t have to wait in line we all have fishing scales, pack the bait securely, weigh it on a scale, buy postage online print and drop off
  8. 10” triple trout floater in green trout, exact bait has caught 9 double digits and can’t even count how many fish on it. It’s beat up still gets bit I have 11 other triple trouts and that’s the goto I refuse to retire it LOL
  9. Comes in 7.8” and 11.8” sizes, Wow
  10. I try to use thinner line that makes my bait swim good, I really think fish don’t care what your line is, but the swimibility of the action with line size. I’ve had success using 12LB CXX for 6” thumper tails and hudd 68s in a minimal snag area, if I were fishing more abrasive cover I’ll up it to 20lb because the line diameter is nearly similar. Your getting bit on .340 mm line so upping it to a 20lb FC line like abrazx is not a bad idea or copoly 15lb-17lb cxx or 20/25lb pline pf org. Or maybe try running a 65/80lb braid to leader, have to check and Retie often with those zebra mussels little suckers cut my line off quite a few times. Problem is with long casts, fluorocarbon & zebra mussels is your line may be sitting on the bottom 5-10 feet before your bait. Even if your bait rises a bit the mussels may cut your line on hook sets because the line is on the bottom and the bait is off the bottom in their mouth, OR Maybe a non sinking line may help a bit? Try to match up line diameters so the bait still has the same action. It’s Tough to say without knowing the structure but hope this helps!
  11. I got a irod Jr Swimbait rod so I bought a kastking Assassin on amazon because I wanted to take off my Lexa 300 off it for another rod. (300 size reel was overkill for that rod) 12-15lb pline cxx for Small Swimbaits been throwing a-rigs, 5” & 6.5” rising sons, 6” thumper tails and small glides this kastking reel is freaking great for <$60 small low profile, great drag, smooth, casts far I’m impressed my jr Swimbait rod is light and feels like a jig rod.
