Seen that before. I can't explain the split ring I've seen aztrouteaters bait like this but I usually change out the hooks for the stx58. Nufo has also told me he's seen this. I'm not sure the split rings on the bait are owners are not?.?.

Aa swimbaits had them for 150 even other two booths had them for 150 plus tax came out to 163.50.

Thanks guys and nufo I know it's gonna happen and I don't think ill be satisfied till I catch a state record. There are some chunks here only started figuring these fish out recently. But it is on. Thanks to swimbait underground too lots of good info here.

Hey guys kinda late post caught this fish last week better late than never. Went out with a buddy and first couple cast catch a 8 pounder weight it put it in the water and make another cast take a couple cranks lets the bait glide and bam look over to my buddy and say "this is a good one" proceed to fight the fish get it to the dock and I can see 3/4 of a 250 in his mouth cool he's hooked good. Then he must of not liked my ugly mug cause he started thrashing around broke a stx58 that was in the mouth and now the bait is hanging on the outside of the fishes mouth by the front trebbile. My buddy reaches down to grab the fish and starts pulling it on the dock and says " dude I don't have a good grip and I need help" so I drop the rod run over try to get a good hold of the fish but the trebbiles are just dangling there. It took both of us to lip and pull the fish up. So much fun!!! New personal best 31lbs.

I'm sure all the slide swimmers are the same even the ones at bass a thon the only thing different about a bbtrout is the pattern from a regular trout. Bb trout has more pronounced black dots and a lighter purple. I'm pretty positive about this one. But someone prove me wrong please
