that has always been a concern of mine too so i use a reel that doesnt get use anymore...the braid fades quick!!! no doubt in my mind the pool has some affect on the braid

i dont care if it came from here there anwhere what it boils down to is what works for you and what you are confident in.. A hungary bass dont care where the bait was made

i have a standard chlorine pool and test my baits in it to get an idea of the swim and what not and i was wondering yesterday does the chemicals affect the baits? i typically wash the baits off in my sink after but just wondered if pool testing may be a bad thing for the baits.. Would the fish be able to notice the chemical if i didnt wash it off.. I mean if they are hungary they will eat anything right??

every state is different but here in cali i feel lits best to let the big girls go and then get to jack in the box and score 6 tacos for 3 bucks..we have enough fish being taken from our waters already but that is just my .02 cents

Give it a try and let us know. I will eventually get to it, but it may take a while. I am not a bait tinkerer by no means, but the negotiators would benefit greatly from silencers in my opinion. do you think silencers would help with the paint chipping near the joint?
