I started in 2012. Went to a local lake, i was at a rock wall dam throwing a senko and snagged a 100lb braided line in. I hand lined the line and on the other end of the line was a 8in trout hudd. I recently heard about hudd and always wanted to try it but didn't know where I would catch fish with it so me finding that hudd, gave me a click that that the bass in that lake eats swimbaits since someone lost a hudd. Came back to the lake the next day throwing the hudd on my powell flipping stick and BAM I felt a thump but lost the fish due to not having proper gears but got me so I pumped up. Kept fishing and about 2 days later I hooked up a 9lb. First swimbait ever and stoked! I fished swimbaits ever since and never went back to conventional baits. The end!
