Who is actually throwing 12"-16" baits?
billthebasser replied to Komodoensis's topic in The Underground
if you cant catch fish on a 8-12in bait your not going to be able to get fish on a 13+in bait. Its not magic. Ive noticed that the bigger baits just arent feasable to use. The 10-12in profile is perfect. anything bigger doesnt cast too well/far and isnt efficient. -

Question for the teen swimbait fishermen
billthebasser replied to young swimbait chucker's topic in The Underground
stick with the proven baits. you don't need many baits just 4-6 which cover all the water columns. a wedge tail, boot tail, glide, multi-joint, and a wake should cover all the bases. Too many people nowadays put emphasis on baits. It is more about spot, technique, timing, positioning, knowledge of the body of water, etc. -
