Ive nailed a few at willow beach with my 13" but ( no offence ment by this at all) the bite to hook up ratio is really low for every 5/6 bites i was boating 1. It kinda shattered my confidence in the bait...i do love the paint job and the huge wide glide. I just feel the front hook needs to be more centered on the first section of the bait.

I think stripers are a little misunderstood. They can be really spooky fish..especially in larger sizes..they can be very very picky eaters aswell. I use alot of big glide baits where i fish. Big top water and wake baits also work really well. One thing i feel alot of people for get in swimbait fishing is research. Learn and study your targets behavior, spawning and how they see colors. For example did you know that a striped bass is one of very few breeds that can actually see the color red even in extreme low light conditions?? So what may look like a trout to us may not even closley resemble a trout to them. Just some food for thought... i would say throw what ever you like at them. A mother, a hinkle a hiroshima... just remember to have fun doing it

Im actuall working on a review of the 13"...it will be a week or so yet... but i can tell im absloutley amazed by it. I have run it against alot of different glide baits and i prefer it over nearly all of them.

Try decoy quads and put a 7# hyper wire split ring on the front and watch that thing move
