haha you're right. and just so you guys know that i dont have a complete hard on for ragos heres my baits of preference recently........of course one of em had to be rago!

Are you taking about the tail issue on the Gildeator that was fixed in the next batch? Not anything specifically, just seems to be a decrease in quality coming from Rago. I haven't had the best success with the injected rats, the one I had got the entire back section torn off by a 6 lb cat. so i typed in "rago" in the search engine and read almost every post and i cant find "many people" who have less then great experiences with his baits. actually...the only thing i did find was the glideator thing and that was fixed imediatly. oh and i did find a post from you in febuary of this year actually recomending rago rats. specifically saying you caught a few fish on the injected ones but prefer the higher end.

I wouldn't use either of those criteria to determine which rat to buy. That hollow injected chinese made "thing" bears no resemblance to Ragos originals. The PB's and Morning Woods run vastly better than anything I've seen Ragos name on these days. JK hey jfish can u not see that he's a kid and probably is "using those criteria" because he doesn't have a ton of cash to spend on a swimbait? oh but i forgot that u are a well known rago hater so i guess i can see why you're all bunched up.

the ones in the local tackle shops are most likely the cheaper injected ones and i like those more then the sewer rat.....they are slow rollers and they do crank down good. you can twitch 'em pretty good too. the best are the wood ones though. and also the dirty rat.

why not go with the original? rago makes many rats and they all catch fish. plus he's gettin back into making them from wood.

So I guess you missed all the " that bait looks good this,I like the action that"all I wanna know is does it catch fish? people are just stating thier opinions on how the bait swims and looks. nobody said it catches fish. nobody would know yet now would they? are you saying nobody is alowwed to say they like the way a bait looks? cause thats what it sounds like.

this is a great thread. im new to this site ive only been on a couple weeks. i realize i forgot to introduce myself but i have spent my time on here (a few hours every night) using the search engine and reading posts. just to get a feel for the site and to see what has been said about the baits i use and favor. i dont mean to be a lurker or anything i just like to fish swimbaits. i like to read about swimbaits. and i like to think about swimbaits. and everything about fishing included. yes im an addict and psyco about it. u prolly wont see me post to many questions but i am reading your tips and techniques and everything else for that matter. other then that im glad to be here and glad to get to fish.....swimbaits.

rago delta rat. its just like the punker but i personally think its easier to walk. doesnt skip over the water when tryin to create big splashes.
