The bull shad has always been a little rough around the edges, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing since they produce. I catch shad to use for catfish bait and they are often pretty beat up looking
-
I just hope everyone got a refund.

These might not be “cool” but they’ll have their time and place

So wtf ever happened with these things?

This one should be fun to fish

Don’t get too hung up on dates unless you want a certain year to commemorate an event in your life or whatever. No two slammers are alike, even those with the same date, but I promise they all catch em.

Damn my luck, but congrats to the guys who scored a bait! -
Excellent write up, very cool to read about Ceaser's background and swimbait thoughts! Thanks SU

I actually have a layover in Dallas tomorrow, so close yet so far away, I’ll get there one day -
Was happy to get one, should be fun to throw

Probably for the best, the backorder log at TW must be huge, and for a lot more than swimbaits

When I said relics I thought you were gonna post a picture of that Don dude

Ha we must’ve been posting at the same time

The restock dates listed are almost always provided by their vendors and more or less out of TWs control. I get that it sucks, but I guarantee TW wants to sell you whatever you want ASAP instead of pushing back arrival dates. The only real solution would be for them to no longer take any back/pre orders but that would annoy people too. They really can’t win

I’m still waiting on that little shad wake he’s posted before

Crank down hard bait recommendations
evilcatfish replied to Danny Frandsen's topic in The Underground
Bull Shad 4x4 is a nice and easy to acquire crankdown bait -
Before replacing your bearings, I highly suggest doing a complete flush and re-lube. I do this to brand new reels and it makes a noticeable difference. Of course, if they are damaged, then you'll need to replace. Boca, ZPI, and Hedgehog all make great aftermarket bearings, you really can't go wrong with any of them

I like it a lot, excellent rod for hard baits. Its rated up to 4oz but I don't think 5oz is out of the question. I used it a little bit this winter to throw 1+ oz spinnerbaits for suspended bass and it performed perfectly for that application. Beautiful build quality as well. In full disclosure, I got a bit of a deal on mine, not sure I'd pay full retail
