    10% off the Huddleston site isn't much less than normal Tackle Warehouse prices, plus TW has Holiday sales. Unless you are hung up on the special colors you can get direct I don't see this discount as all that great.

    Good catch noticing that on their website. I don't remember seeing anything out there about new models coming out, but I'd definitely be interested in that rod if the specs are right. I had the jackhammer and at the price point it was a fantastic rod, but I just didn't use it enough. I know Daiwa handles their US affairs, might be worth a call...

    My Great Lakes fishing experience is limited and has mainly revolved around tubes, but I bet a 3:16 Mission Fish in a color that vaguely resembles a Goby would tear em up. Also, I second the dark sleeper, they are pretty cool little baits https://www.316lurecompany.com/Mission-Fish-_p_22.html

    If you aren't in a hurry, you could try contacting Scott/22nd century direct and he'll probably make you one. He's done a couple special requests for me, and unlike some bait makers, he responds to emails and provides accurate turnaround times

    My frog colored mini slammer was the first "cool" swimbait I bought and will never be sold. Also a 9" dark trout slammer and perch mini that my step mom got me for my birthday the year before she passed away
