Thanks appreciate the comments! Now this is getting freaky! I just realized these 2 fish were caught EXACTLY 1 year apart TO THE DAY...same lake...makes ZERO Sense! An 11.6 and a 10.2...Man! Also I was also wearing the same shirt (Under my Optimum Baits...caught a tone of big fish in that same sweatshirt too) Regardless of the logic...I will be fishing every March 8th wearing the my lucky shirt and sweatshirt! Texas is HOT-I'm going to sweating my butt off this summer in that dang shirt and sweatshirt! Hahahahaha

@RogervangThere was actually a tourney on the lake that day...Its a "Slot lake" so 14-24inches goes back in the water No "OVERS" were weighed in during the 3 day tourney out of 300 Entrys That fish would of won me close to $100K or even possibly a Truck & Boat Combo But you know what? -If i was in that tourney I bet money I wouldn't of even been able to catch common cold But that fishing brother

Hey SU FAM, I reciently landed my LARGEST SWIMBAIT FISH to date... She weighed 10.2 BREAKDOWN: Super windy day...Water 51-54.5 Degrees...Actually Cooler in the creeks due to the recent rains Fish are in PRE-SPAWN mode like a Mofo...BIG Gurls stacking on the points leading to the healthy coves... Waiting on the call from Romeo to do the "Dirty Dirty"...Drop them eggs and say: "Appreciate the good time homeboy, nice knowing ya...see ya next spring!" What a heartless Beesh...Anyway, enough of that raunchy Fish talk! The version I have has the Lexan Tail Almost like a One-Knocker style lipless bait...same concept in my mind I feel the Lexan tail flapping around back there creates a similar style noise...I can promise you, with all that Smack'in and Whack'in it doesn't go unnoticed by them Greenbacks! With the water being Muddy low visibility- I thought I needed something that would really make some noise... I was on my 6th hour straight without a bite or sniff...so I thought why not give it a shot? I had the Bomber tied on so I thought to myself...it made a lot of noise when I was checking out the action...CHUNK IT! With in 20 min I had a 3.5lb spot in the boat...and she ate while I was just barely cranking it under the surface. I thought I was wake bait guy...What the hell just happened??? I continued to work the bait in similar fashion...I landed a 4Lber shortly after and then Big Momma ate on the next cast. She weighted 10.2 and is my 2nd biggest bass to date (11.6) And now that I think of it-My LARGEST SWIMBAIT FISH TO DATE! (Thanks Brian AKA BigfeastBaits for making this happen) Regardless of your intended fish method...It's a hella versatile bait...It wakes, Cranks, and walks...Flat gets bit! (And Affordable) Get one ole Son!

Funny thing is the Bait Delivered last Friday...I tied it on and fished it for the 1st time on Sunday (SIMPLE MATH) BAIT + WATER = FISH My biggest SWIMBAIT FISH TO DATE! Thank you Brian! (I'll post a rundown in the Got'em Section shortly...)

Great Post! I'm glad I'm not not the only one! A few years ago I ran to the lake (Only had 30-45min to fish before I had to meet the wife for dinner...She said Don't be late!) 1st cast NEW Braid "SNAP" and my favorite 2 PC Morning Wood goes rocketing into the sky-landing about 50 yards away It had rained the night before and a lot of debris was floating on the water so I tried to Lock my eyes on the Rat so I didn't lose sight of it mixed in with all the leaves and sticks... The Wind was blowing it out farther quickly so I had to act quick! I was at the park during the week and it normally was vacant until the weekend...so I decided to strip naked! (Smart move) ...Didn't want to show up to dinner with a wet underwear outline on my shorts...I mean come on! The bank I was on only had 1 small bush to conceal my public nudity so as I kept an sharp eye on my Rat and quickly undressed and made my way into the water... Doggy paddling while keeping an eye on the "RAT"... I guess it was out about 60+ yards or so and felt the physical fatigue of being out of shape. When I made it to "What I thought was my Rat" I realized it was a freaking stick! I guess I lost sight of in my doggy paddling and misjudged it's location! I immediately starting to panic from exhaustion and was about to give up! I told myself "Do 3 circles and if you don't see it-give up and head back!" About the 3rd "Doggy Paddle 360" I spotted it! I snatched it and started paddling back with what little energy I had left! Not paying much attention to anything other than NOT DIEING... I didn't realize the "young couple" of campers that had arrived and were setting up their tent as I came came out of the lake totally naked "Glistening in the Summer sun" holding a rat in one had and covering my "Twig-n-berries" in the other! I had NO WORDS for them...I stood behind the "Worlds smallest Bush"...Just Staring at the couple like a creep. The guy said: "Are you ok?" I Said: "I'm Doing great-I got my rat back!" No other words were exchanged...Just creepy stares...mainly my me.

I agree with El Weruso ... Gives it a more natural appearance...I would fish it for sure!

Well put Jeff...I and many other share the same sentiments! When I first joined I didn't know anything but was highly intrigued by the Swimbait I had a guy on here from Texas reachout to me and drive over 2 hours to meet me at a local pond and talk Swimbaits It was the 1st time is saw a 9in MS Slammer and he had a 3:16 Armageddon...I didn't know what to think He gave me a few swimbaits and (Mattlures Hardgill and some Rising Sons) I lost the hardgill the next trip out but caught a lot of fish on those rising sons... Ben from LDC got a introductory Swimbait Rod and not I have 4 and another Custom on the way SU is the place to be! Now who is gunna be the 1st to get a SU tattoo?

Had a great time tossing the UFO Billed Gill around this past weekend... Fishing a highly pressured body of water here in East Texas...Lake is getting pounded hard by tons of guys and most of the guides. Pitching/Flipping, Punching ,dropshot and weedless flukes claiming 20+ fish a day with a 2 Lb Average size...so "Dink fest" in my opinion Knowing they were eating good I started throwing the UFO Billed Gill and immediately connected with a solid fish (2 other boats in close proximity watching) One of the guy said: "That's why he caught a big one...Look at the size of the bait!"...They trolling motored over and I flipped the bait in their boat-They two guys though it was pretty cool! I caught 4 total and the smallest was around 3.5 and the biggest was around 6... I have a vairity of Gill style baits and Time after Time the UFO just gets it done! The swim is unique and doesn't "Blow out" at any speed and comes thru cover well and hookup ratio has been 100% for me so far
