  1. Are those storm wild eye shad worth the price? Those things are EXPENSIVE
  2. It's been modded to suspend/slow float, you can crank it down to about 4-5 feet. I'd also consider a trade for a 5" stubby triple trout.
  3. If I'm getting follows in a certain area I'll just note it and come back later (15mins-1hour). Usually works if not there will be another fish holding to the structure/cover that will be willing to commit.
  4. I'd rather throw a slammer if I'm throwing a wakebait I'm looking for a Deps 175 or a slow sink hardgill. Other wise I'll sell them both at retail $100 for the wake jr and $60 for the baby wake. $150 for the pair. I've only thrown the baby wake a few times but I fished the wake jr pretty hard last year, little bit of mojo on that lure.
  5. ttt Here are some pics Anyone want to upgrade your 6" or 7" Bone Triple Trout to a 10" Light Trout?
  6. It's a little too big for the applications I fish. I'd like to trade it for a 4" to 6" triple trout, bone preferred. Will post pics in a little bit.
  7. They sell a 5" triple trout?
  8. +1 So glad I picked a few of the Z200's up when they were blowing them out. Super impressed with these reels.
  9. I kinda like my Daiwa Z200. It's a little bulkier than other 300 low profile baitcasters thought but I have big hands.
  10. I'm glad the ponds I fish are open to anglers at night. My mincy pansy balls couldn't handle trespassing at night.
  11. From the pictures and information I've come across I disagree. The lure looks like a 250 but made in the manner of the bulldozers/bullshooters. My crackpot theory is that Deps is getting ready to flood the market with a mass produced 250 soon. Sell them og 250's while you can boys.
  12. Quit setting the hook like a Miss Nancy and set into them like a man. I had the same problem with my weedless huddlestons. I thought I was setting the hook just fine but I was mistaken, I had to hit them even harder. Another observation I've come across is that it's better to swing as soon as you feel or think you feel a bite compared to waiting for your rod to load.
  13. Fish the smell away or slather it with megastrike/procure and then fish it.
  14. $140 tyd 9/10 cosmetically 9.99/10 mechanically, no box. I'd also be willing to trade it for some six inch weedless huddlestons, 68 or original.
  15. I have a super slow sink bluegill 175 I'd be willing to trade. I'm looking for weedless six inch hudds if you got them, 68 or regular.
  16. I know a lot of people in my neck of the woods run heavy 30-40 flouro leaders over steel/titanium leaders. The only time I get bit off are from hammer handles.
  17. Pretty much my observations from the last 3 years of swimbaiting as well. except I think I need to throw my line through more often. Also x1111111111 on the kid thing. I feel sorry for the fisherman that have more than one kid.
  18. It's a little bit of lack of trying on my part. After watching a 3-4 pounder inhale my six inch weedless yesterday like it was nothing I think I'm going to have to step it up to 8" huddlestons.
  19. I prefer my Okuma H over my Loomis 955, my .02
  20. I was the same way but alas, time on the water changed that for me. Then I started getting bit and would miss fish or they'd come unbuttoned. Then I started hitting the fish as hard as I could when they bit, magically they wouldn't come unpinned. It's all that time on the water that's helped me improve my huddleston game. Note that my experience come from the six inch hudd not the 8 inch deluxe.
