  1. Looking to sell, No trades. Lightly used 9.5 mechanically 9.0 cosmetically (some scratches but no gouges or big scratches. $145 tyd
  2. I must be catching on because the first thing I did even before swapping hooks/split ring was remove the eye's and super glue them on. To me the 6" is entirely too heavy, a six inch lure should not weigh 4 oz. The 5" is right on the money though for weight and size. As of right now all my fish that I've caught with it were from dragging/deadsticking it on the bottom. Remove the bottom hook and add a tungsten weight where the hook would go, swap hooks and split ring naturally.
  3. For me it was an 6" weedless hudd in baby bass. They were hit or miss just like the huddgill, some would swim sideways but when you had one that ran true.
  4. Black Dog Baits getting a piece of that price gouging pie.
  5. That'd be a state record if it was caught in Colorado.
  6. Same, I was going to order some tophook huddgills to try out but didn't feel like waiting.
  7. That's because braided line will last a LONG time if you use it as backing and it has zero memory. I also back my spools with braided line because I like to respool every week or every other week when I'm fishing hard.
  8. Patents expire, I'm sure we'll see a return of baitsmith eventually.
  9. They're just charging the shipping costs. Some flip the bill, some don't.
  10. I wish they had more patterns (business idea), I'd wrap the ish out of my all my rods if they had a black and green pattern.
  11. When the water temperature is below 50, I'll usually throwing a jerkbait.
  12. I'm glad this subject got brought up again. I feel it's more relevant now that there are top hook rof 5 huddlestons on the market. I'm building up my hudds again for next year and was wondering the same thing. I have some top hook rof 5's that I was wondering about bb rigging but I figure I'd let the fish let me know once it starts getting chewed. Then I start thinking about all the fish that have tossed my huddgills, 68 specials, and weedless 68's, feelsbadman. Still haven't caught a fish on an 8" hudd but I've had some nice follows. Next year though, it's all I'm gong to be throwing until I get bit.
  13. Keep an eye on the fins and nose of the bait, those areas are going to be the first to rip. I prefer 3:16 glue over any other soft plastic glue but make sure to touch up those areas.
