  1. Makes sense. But I’m thinking in general…..outside of us swimbait weirdos, when someone mentions a swimbait, they’re referring to a glide 99% of the time. Or maybe a small paddletail. Just funny cuz there’s so many scenarios where there’s a better swimbait to throw than a glide. I think two reasons for it. They get a lot of follows and they’re fun to work and watch. Both just come down to people being entertained by them. People fee the need to see fish. That’s why so many people stay on small fish. It’s comforting to being catching, even when those fish aren’t winning fish.
  2. Can’t help but think at those water temps a cranking gill or Tk wouldn’t have smashed. I don’t understand why a glide is literally the only swimbait that guys throw in the elites

  5. Keep something in mind, being a successful swimbait fisherman doesn’t mean just find the biggest bait you can and chucking til your arms fall off. It means figuring out what the biggest fish wants, when it wants it, where, and how. So maybe your k9 is too big, wrong color, wrong action, wrong depth, wrong time of day, time of year…..etc. For me, my biggest fish of the season tend to be in spring, during the day, and on 5-7” baits. But in summer I have to go to 8-11” baits to get bigger fish. There’s a science to it
  6. Got a rod and reel. Just looking to sell or trade these for baits… slammers, bullshad baacas, 3:16 top or bottom hook rising sons, clickbait’s, a ufo, pb rats, Hiro glides, k9 lows….pretty open here. Even a Dobyns bullshad 835
  7. The thing about a slammer is, you can’t know if it’s a good one til you fish it a while. I have had some where the joint looked like a 2 year cut it. Some with line ties way off center. Paint flaked off after a dozen fish. Doesn’t matter on a slammer….not if your goal of catching fish. Some of them just flat out catch even when they look and swim like poo. The regular 3 piece doesn’t really get any deeper than the 2. But if you can find one, he makes a DC(deep crank) that gets down some. But no slammers really get more than 4-5’. They’re wood so all of them vary.
  8. That was my suspicion. Prob was formatted for a computer and not a mobile device. In fact, now that I look harder, I can see when you select a message, you can see the trash icon pop up but it’s blocked by the new task bar on the bottom of the screen
  9. With the new updates on the site, is there no longer a way to select multiple messages in your inbox and delete them? I can select them but don’t see a delete or trash button. Am I missing it?
  10. Just curious, you looking for a 7” or a mini? The mini has the rat tail and a single hook
  11. If it’s state law or tourney rule, you follow or gtfo my boat. That being said, I also keep a spare nice vest in my boat. I win more money haha
