I emailed him regarding the glideator I bought wanting to roll at a quick retrieve and he replied the bait is designed to be fished slow with a pull reel pull reel retrieve and said he has a version of the glideator available that doesn't roll but didn't really elaborate. I reel mine slow and it works fine. The paint jobs fantastic on it. Not sure if it will help but worth a try, add a split ring to the bait. My buddy had one that had some roll to it, added the ring and helped it some. Not a fan of the glideator on a split ring most glideators are best with a snap. And that's straight from rago I know cause I inquired. But.....he also said every bait has its own little personality.

Ya most likely the fish weren't biting that day......try again. Glide baits will produce follows even when they aren't interested in eating...but they are not magical fish catchers.

The old one was a prototype I heard. I have an old one and a new one. The new joint makes the new glide easier is what I was told. Ill tell u what the new one casts a freaking mile. I love it for banking it that's how I got my pb Wich is currently in the got em section. Its a solid bait.

What up I'm new to the underground and new to fishing period. Started fishing in june when my bro gave me some swimbaits and a pole. Well I got hooked bad and I mean bad been fishing every day since. Everyday. Caught a ton of fish some good ones too but i figured I'd wait till I got a DD to join here. Well I got her was fishing a reed bank I know has some bigger fish lazing about with a rago glide Gill and I thought I had a follow but couldn't see how big she was. So i cast it way out so she wouldn't get spooked. Got slammed about 20-25 feet down the reed bank. 6 good violent head shakes later I had me an 11.9 nine pound majestic beast! Its like I've been high ever sinc e I'm still so stoked. I can't wait to get the next one. Thanks for looking.
