  1. I have a NIB Negoiator Alblino sitting at the house. Send me a PM as I am intersted in the TTs. Thanks!
  2. Have to agree with the previous posts -- both lures function differently and are used in different situations. As for color, you only state that it will be mostly daytime fishing and in both stained and clear waters....Suggest you go with a color that resembles the forage in the bodies of water where you fish (ie - perch, trout, etc). Otherwise, for the Negoitator a natural color such as AYU is good for clear water or Okiwamesu which has some chartruese in it and is good for slightly stained waters. You know what they say "If it ain't Chartruese, it's no use". For the South, the US Gill color is great or go with the Spring Gill. Good luck fishing!
  3. Speed Bead, Jesse and others - thanks for the offers to fish, I will certainly take you up on them. Looking forward to getting out there and wacking a few monsters together. The Occoquan from the headwaters down past the lily pads by Fairfax Yatch club is one of my favorite areas to fish. Jesse do you have a boat or are you fishing from shore? As soon as I get 5 posts, I will start using the PM feature. Thanks guys!
  4. Welcome to the Underground. Swing for the fences and pull hard!!
  5. Lastly, since I am new and haven't learned how to respond or PM to messages I have recieved, I can be reached at wcdrake69@gmail.com. **Ryan - I am out close to Gainesville, VA.
  6. Thanks for tips on the baits and responses. I will be getting some of the Rising Sons for sure and will pick up a couple of the 68s during the next sale. I mainly fish out of the Occoquan out to Belmont Bay. Sometimes I put in at Pohick Bay and roll over to Greenway flats and Pumunkey. During the colder months I like putting in at Bell Haven and going up to the Spoils and Smoots Bay. I can't leave out Mattawoman!!! Being a former Marine, I go down to Quantico and fish there as well...the good ole Chopowamsic! Lastly, I like to fish the local lakes and resoviors like Fountain Head, Brittle and Crockett Park.
  7. Hi All - I am an avid bass fisherman who has turned the corner and found the true enjoyment of swimbait fishing. I know how rewarding a 50 plus day of catching bass can be on the Potomac River with traditional lures, but also know how great it is to catch just one swimbait fish after days without a single bite. Time, patience, and true dedication is needed to be sucessful. I became a member on this site back in December, and have learned lots by reading countless posts and decided it was time to become an active and contributing member. I look forward to being welcomed into this tightly knit family, continuing to learn from all of you, and to my fellow swimbait chuckers in the Northern VA area I hope to get out on the water with some of you soon. Best, Will
