Broke the cursed slump yesterday on my first ever rat fish! It's always nice to get out of a slump with a solid chunk on the swimbait.

Thank you my man! I have been wondering how to transfer it!

Since its been so hot, I decided to go out at night and have a go at the fish. Well with a 10" bait you would expect to catch bigger fish... well thats not been the case. I have been catching small fish from the 2-3lb range but hey, they are still fun to catch!

Defiantly a deps 250 slide swimmer. Works all year long!

Sort of new to SU so i justed wanted to show off some 8" Hudd fish caught back in Febuary to start off. Gonna start posting more here though pretty soon.

I was fishing a frog at one of the local ponds one morning and as soon as i pull up to the spot, further down the bank i see a bass chasing some shad up. I quickly throw down there and of course, I make a terrible cast which the frog ended up on the bank. I quickly reel and try and get it into the water and right before it landed in the water (like an inch from the water) the bass turns, comes straight on the bank and crushes the bait, flops back in, then swims out deep. Me being stuned, i didnt know whether to give him more time to eat the frog or just set the hook. I just ended up slamming the hook into him and getting up. Barely hooked him though which was the weird part. Just wish i could have gotten it on camera!
