  1. Sorry for your loss, man. Hope you stick a hawg for your buddy, who I'm sure will be smiling from above
  2. great thread indeed. This whole time, I was storing them in a typical plano tray, and it seemed to work fine.. except for some hook rash on the hard baits
  3. i fished with matt allen on sunday, and stuck a 6.9 on a sw200. It swims just as good as the 168, if not better. there are only two people that have the 200 protos right now. For just under $40, i plan on getting several
  4. alan fong was doing pretty well with his custom glidebait (bone) up in the north D in january i havent put much effort with the glidebaits for stripers, but that'll change really soon!
  5. i was able to score a trout and carp from the sac fw, about 3 months apart. I love FW hey don, are you in sactown?
  6. it shouldnt be me.... but if it was me, i would throw it until either my arms fell off or i land a state record bass from the delta .... but it shouldnt be me
  7. lunker punker at o'dark thirty
  8. my go to bait for stripers are: ima big stik, fishtrap, lv 500, and bucktail jig with a white trailer, and flukes
  9. i shouldnt have said that... sorry fellas i tried to delete, then edit the post.... it wont let me
  10. i've fished with matt a couple times and the back story is trev gauwdy has a really good editing crew. before they got on the boat, trev told matt that he will net all the fish.... including matt's anyway, matt ended up catching the big ones that day, and it was made to look like trev caught them. no secret about the two lakes either
  11. i would go with the 4 stroke... its quieter, and you dont have to mix in oil each time you fill in your gas tank my buddy has a 14' whaler with a 30hp yami... pretty fast, and he took out the front bench for more space
  12. Here's mine at clearlake
  13. for me, personally, i am totally new to bass fishing. started getting serious about it last february, and i pretty much have gone ALL IN... being the noob that i am, i somehow got into big swimbaits thru my good buddy John. I actually have more swimbaits than him now, but still have yet to stick a good one. that's pretty much why i havent contributed... much at all i actually love to share personal fish stories, post reports with pics and vids... i just have to continue being persistent so i can actually improve my game and have something worth posting about. as long as i'm a part of this club, eventually, when i get over the hump, i plan on contributing alot more love this club! props to everyone here nard
