Nice bag of fish, you guys are always on 'em, and congrats on the baby. I felt like I was reading about myself, my wife and I just had baby #3, and my boat is tore apart to replace livewell pumps and hoses so I haven't been able to fish much either.

Very well put, I firmly believe that that 20 lb flouro will out fish 25 lb mono every day of the week. However, if we all fished 20 lb flouro and Butch fished 25 lb mono, we'd still get out fished. Your line is one piece of a very big puzzle. Always remember why your out there, for fun! Don't worry too much about what everyone else is doing and just enjoy your time on the water. Do the best you can while still living within your means.

With 20 lb flouro you're a lot more likely to cast off a bait. I would assume that's why most people aren't using it. That's why I use 25 lb big game. Maybe now that 250's are a little easier to get more people will start going that route.

You definitely want to talk to Butch. I doubt you'll be able to get new foil for it but Butch can repair it and epoxy it to make it last. Mine was pretty bad and he made it look good again.

I believe it was made longer so that when the tail contacts it, it compresses and then springs the tail the other direction causing the bait to turn and go the other way.
