  1. My modest little collection. I don't have anything on you guys with your dozens of 3:16s but I have the bases covered. SS Baby Hardgill Gan Craft Jointed Claw 178 Floater Baby Wake 6" Hudd ROF 5- BEAT UP! 20+ fish and snapping turtles biting the fins off. I had converted it to a floater so I cut the jig hook off and cut out all the lead. I wanted it back to an ROF 5 so I stuck an 1/8 oz tungsten in the belly and glued it shut again. Decoy Hydratail
  2. Dang! The WR is 8-12 so that's a friggin beast fish!
  3. I'm planning on caling BTD to find out.
  4. Why area people thinking it is pizz? He makes his own baits and repaints. As far as I know he is an honest guy. I was thinking kiernan is doing this.
  5. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10593 Everything applies except the amount of weight you will need to add. Use tungsten putty and play around with it until yu get the desired action and sink rate.
  6. Bought a baby hardgill from wayne. I had no notion of needing the bait shipped by a certain time but he sure did. He was a day late by his standards and sent me a free decoy hydra tail along with the bait I purchased for the "trouble". Thank you so much man!
  7. I'd rather get an LDC and a Lexa for that price
  8. In what range would a 3:16 10" sport cost? I'm not looking for one, couldn't afford it but I'm curious to see what they sell for. Thanks. -Cullen
  9. Alright, here's a question for you braid guys. What pound test do you have to use to NOT snap off baits with? I can't see a 1-15oz bait breaking 80lb braid. If you get a backlash you'll probably have to cut all the line off because it dug in so much but will you still lose the bait? I wonder how many pounds of force we throw our baits with.
  10. Here's a really ugly rat I made. Unrefined and its the first bait I made but it moves a ton of water on a medium retrieve. Not much action on a slow retrieve; I think I need to move the eyelet right onto the nose. It had a worm for a tail but I didn't like the action so I changed it up to a tail similar to what is on the 3:16 wakes. It twitches well and the tail makes a nice slap. The bait is pine covered in epoxy and the tail is balsa I cut with a razor. The hooks are ST-58's (size 1). The tail is attached with a double ring from an old frog. I have only caught one fish ith it and missed another but I don't fish it very often. Here's a picture of it.
  11. Someone should just call this asswipe's wife and see how he likes that.
  12. matt peters throws his baits on braid though ^^^^^^^
  13. I didn't say my opinion was the end-all to everything. its just an opinion.
  14. Fluoro for softbaits, mono for hardbaits. Braid= lost baits.
  15. Thanks bigbaiter! I had read somewhere that they were gammys but I'm glad they are owners.
  16. Cool deal man! I already have a silver but it will be cool to see who gets one!
  17. Probably wouldn't get the best hookup ratio and your bait would get shredded really fast because of all the weeds pulling on the bait. Try a mission fish with a weight, it should work.
  18. Catfish maybe? Big bass tend to wallow around on the surface from what I've seen in videos. Could be a striper too. Get back out there and catch it!
  19. Great price! If I didn't just buy one i'd be all over it. Snatch that up people!
  20. And to think the baby was huge before. Now just gotta stick something over 4 on either...haha. Small fish apparently love to eat mammals.. Geez. The big possum and the big bullshooter are the two baits that stand out to me in size. Sure the mother is big but the possum and the shooter are just beefy.
  21. Looking for a baby hardgill in slow sink in male gill, female gill, or pumpkinseed. Preferably in new-ish condition. PM me if you have one and we can work something out.
