  1. Oh we'll. I'll have to go get a bigger one haha. Thanks for the info!
  2. Today the bass were activley feeding on bait fish. I saw one bust on some shad out in some weeds and casted out right on top of where it came out of the water and let it sink for a second then started to retreive it slowly. It hit like a train haha. It was my first one on the Hard Bass. This bait has tormented me. Ive had 8 followers in four days. Smallest being 3lbs and the biggest about 8lbs. I watched BigBassDreams right before I went which gave me the confidence in the bait. Thanks Oliver! Then about 30min after the first one I caught this beast. It came in at 6.5 on the digital scale. I thought it was hung up on weeds but I said in my head "How could it wake that much?". So I stopped it and gave it 1 or 2 twitches and it rolled on it like a carp would. It really didnt even fight that hard but it was fun catching it. If someone could help me out, where do I post my entry for the SUB contest? Do I just post it here? Or in the SUB code thread? Thanks!
  3. I tried and did not succeed haha.
  4. Nice man. This morning I was fishing with my friend Kyle and I hooked into another brute. Tore up the side of my Huddleston, burning over grass matts. Faught it for about 15 seconds before it came off. We think it was the same one because it hit in the exact same spot and fought the same way.
  5. First post here since I caught my first swimbait fish two days ago. Second day out with my brand new 8" Huddleston Deluxe ROF5 and caught this toad(first pic). It was exciting to say the least. It chocked it. It hit in ten foot of water after swimming it off of a 8 foot drop off next to a spillway. Everything added up like the recent rise in water, clouds, coolest water temp in the lake. A couple off hours ago I caught yet another Huddleston fish and that was also fun. Second Huddleston fish in two days. Fished it over grass matts third cast and "Bam-Capow-Slurp it hit" Going to go and try tomorrow with the Hudd and we'll see if I can get another one. http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/9973/30j7.jpg http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/6485/olt.jpg http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/6492/dmgf.jpg And here is the one I caught several hours ago. Here is one other big fish I caught earlier today on a jig. I had a 6+ break my jig off. Caught two fish and forgot to retie. I'm going to try tomorrow at 5:00am to see if I can get the jig back
  6. They actually still do eat but think about it. After the bass are done spawning, the bream start bedding. Post spawn bass target smaller baitfish because its in abundance at this time. So that's why other people have been catching them on smaller swimbaits. A black dock shellcracker is an amazing bait for this period in the season. This is for my waters so I don't know about yours, but they are generally the same I would think.
