Anything mentioned above will work. But you dont need to take every drop of paint off. You need to said it down so get good adhesion, how fine of grit you get into depends on how nice you want the finish. I'de strip it like mentioned, then light sand and primer, and your good to go. Paint adhesion and quality is in the prep work. Try and keep your greasy fingerprints off it along the way. -
