    To protect the bait from dust while it sits on the shelf....silly question. You guys put baits on a shelf?! I thought they were for fishing??? Sorry. I've never understood the concept of buying a bait and not using it. I've got some baits that were expensive, that now look just as beat as my cheaper ones.

    Bubonic is a local (New England) guy who's been gracious enough to furnish my blog with some baits. My crappie pattern should be in the mail later this week. At around 4" and 1oz, it's light enough to throw on a smaller rod. I'm thinking I'll have him do some bigger baits for me as well.... Any way, just showing off a bit. Here's a pic...

    Had a blast and it was nice to put faces on the names! Oliver is a stand up guy and couldn't have been more down to earth. Mike, thanks for getting BBD involved this year. It's good to see swim baits moving off the Left Coast and a little closer to home. As promised, I'll get the pics I took to you as soon as possible!

    With swimbaiting not as big in the North East, the thing that drives me crazy are the senko fishermen who think they know everything and are quick to point out that I'll "never catch anything on a big bait like that". D-Bags....

    So my person doesn't think I'm a cheap skate, I sent one item out. Them my wife went into labor and gave birth to my fourth child. I will be sending the rest early next week.
