  1. I've visited Mexico many times, it's always been a pleasure, though this time was my first fishing for bass there. The staff and guides at Lake Baccarac Lodge were excellent. I'm already looking forward to a return trip next year.
  2. Spent 6 days fishing Lake Baccarac in Mexico, landed this 7-9 on a Brandon Thomas swimbait, it wasn't my largest, but it was my largest on a hard swimbait and not a storm shad (which was the hot bait, many in our group hit DD's).
  3. New 11" Hiroshima on top with some others I had.
  4. Wsb 125 cranking and Gill. Fresh paint by Mike Bauer.
  5. Good luck in your search Will. There are some other gill baits that may tide you over until you find one..... Hiro Gillrilla and Billrilla, Toxic Wade Hoggs, GO2, and Brandon Thomas also makes a gill I think.
  6. Got home today after a long weekend away to find this had arrived; class act Ryan. ðŸ‘🼠Thank you.
  7. Unreal......crazy comeback! Way to go Pats! The Falcons made that alot closer than I expected, props to them for a great game.
  8. Ryan, I'll take the Pat's and put a floating freestyle gill up against the wake jr. if your willing.
  9. Very nice! Cheeca Lodge is probably the best in that area, I'm sure you guys had a blast. My wife was terrified to feed the tarpon at Robbie's...
  10. Only had a limited few opportunities to throw mine before the waters froze around here, but have to agree with the descriptions given by Rod and mjw2121.
  11. Well we certainly have to give the kid an A+ for entrepreneurship, saw a market and seized the opportunity, not bad for a 6-7 yr old...lol. 😜 Glad you got your problem resolved, innocent mistake or not, good to know this is going on.
  12. From shore I carry one small deep Plano usually holds 3-6 baits, From the kayak, 2 Plano 3700 deep because they fit under the seat. In the boat I may bring more, but find that two boxes are plenty.
  13. Got my last three in yesterday. Lit up Bass, Carp, and Perch. I had recieved the gill and trout last week. I think they all look awesome, wish I had ordered all of them but I can wait for another run, that disco, shad, and redhead look great.
  14. Some new Toxic Baits just in time for Christmas! Thanks Ceasar!
  15. 966 BBR has been one of my main rods for the last few years. It has a more parabolic action than the Loomis Swimbait rods and I prefer it for most of my fishing. I started using it after watching Southern Trout Eaters and it was Matt Peters rod of choice for the hudd, slammer and 10" TT. The rating on the rod is deceptive, listed as 3-10 oz, but that's for backbouncing and not casting. For casting the rod is realistically in the 1 - 5 oz rating. Confirming this with the G. Loomis web page has them listing the 965 bbr as being capable of casting up to about 4 oz, and that's a rod that's rated for 2-8 oz for back bouncing.
  16. I have and like the g. Loomis swimbait 955, throws 2-6 oz very well.
  17. I'm just going to say you need both, pick which you want first, then get the other later. I fish alone the majority of the time so any place that has a ramp whether it's dirt or paved I can launch my 1448 Tracker Jon boat. It's more comfortable than the kayak, holds more gear and I can stand or sit. Any place that does not have a ramp, then I couldn't single handedly get any smaller Jon boat in alone anyhow, so I use a Jackson Coosa. I did love the Hobie PA myself but it was too much for me back when I bought my Coosa for less than 1/2 the price at about $1,100. It's light enough, and with a cart, I can wheel it down a trail. No I can't carry a ton, but I can carry a 4 Plano deep 3700's and that's plenty of baits for small waters. I can't dance in it, but I can stand and cast if I want. Honestly, I still prefer to sit because I don't feel like diving after all my stuff if I do happen to flip it. Finally, an overlooked option is a canoe. I have an old Mad River Explorer 16'6" that I can stand in and can carry a ton if needed. It can also accept a trolling motor with an easily removable bracket.
  18. Lol, didn't notice previous post. It's the same.

  20. Not sure how far into a tear down your looking to get, but this may help. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TGUBdg-SdgM
