A few new Pats.
-
His wake prior to this was a shad profiled bait, this is a gill profile.

Hell yeah! Was a blast wasn’t it!?!

Now that Mike Bucca has released his new baits I can post a picture of my pb from October 3rd, on a then prototype Bull Gill wake. First time out with the bait, and first cast of the day over one of my favorite spots produced this NH 6-11, incrementally improving on my earlier this summer 6-10 on a 6” Bull Rat.

I’ve been fishing this bait this past season and I can agree with most of this, you can do slow half reel turns for a slow roll type glide but you describe it well. I personally think it’s much more controllable off the reel, but thats going to come down to personal preference.

Good stuff, thanks Ceasar! In

Got this one late last week cranking the Pats over an offshore hump, it went 6-5, biggest so far this season for me.

Swimbait Underground Bait Share - Traveling Slammer
MrBadExample replied to SU Crew's topic in The Underground
Well my time with the traveling Slammer has ended, fished this bait from Northern MA all the way up to Vermont, at various locations throughout NH. I managed several fish on it, no real big ones, but it was fun to put a few fish on this bait nonetheless. The bait is on its way to Nebraska now, and yeah it was still damp when I packed it because I was throwing it up until this afternoon . 😂 -

Swimbait Underground Bait Share - Traveling Slammer

Slammer has arrived in NH. Added a new tail, and she's gonna get a workout! -
I've caught 'em this season on a Deps 175, and the 9" slammer. These were about 3 pounds, don't think you'll have any issue getting bigger ones to hit similar sized baits. The Spro rat has also accounted for a bunch of them at night also.

Hiro weighs 9.2 oz, Hinkle weighs 9.5

A few comparison pics.

Nice!

Awesome fish! As we're getting off the boats, I asked him how he did ...he looks at me and says..."okay"......lmao, yeah a 9-9 is okay. I'll be back there with you, also taking care of some unfinished business.

No questions, it was an awesome trip!
-
That may be a question best asked directly of the maker. Send him an email through tripletrout.com, Scott is very good at communicating with emails and is the best person to ask as that bait is fairly uncommon with top hooks.

I've had success with hudd 68's and just the other night I got one on a real prey forage trout, low and slow swimming it just above the bottom.
