  1. Any website for those guys? doin some research on some handmade rats, seein wich ones would be good.
  2. echoedd, what lures does ceaser make?
  3. Looking at the kincanon baits, I realized that they had no website, only 1 review and an email address. If it wasn't for LDC's Instagram, I wouldn't have even seen it. I was wondering how many other garage-born and mom'n pop shop swimbait companies that have little exposure, but make unique and quality baits. Any names come to mind? What baits if theirs do you like?
  4. Nice! Always afraid I'll order something in August 2013 and get it early 2015! With the swimbait craze, it seems if it ain't poured, it's back logged at least a few months.
  5. Damn those look beautiful just out of curiosity, what was the turn around from ordering to receiving on the Kincanons? Got a trip comin up in 3 months that I want to make sure I have a couple for!
  6. I'm hearing the morning wood has some water-logging issues
  7. Be sure to report back! I think the Esox would live then
  8. What are your favorite rat baits? Witnessed a muskrat get DEMOLISHED by a musky, and My uncle, in one of his "good old days" stories said they used to take the lab mice home from school every summer and catch bass on them. So, what are your guys' favorite rat baits? Looking at a Kincanon custom rat, and the better courts look good. As usual though, you guys seem to know everything a person can ever want to know in subjects like this
  9. What color is that hard bass in? I'm sure I can take it off your hands
  10. Once a year holy ish (pardon my French). That's rediculous! But I guess from what I've seen, the baits are worth it. I will be sure to contact him though! Thanks for your guys help.
  11. So in later November, I will be taking a trip solely for Esox, to the French River for rod-breaking Muskie and I want to pick up some new mattlures to immitate the natural forage, mostly the strong perch and a smallmouth colored strong bass. Only snag, Mattlures never really seems to have the strong bass in stock, and as I just missed the first batch of strong perch, I am wondering when they will get back in stock. Is Matt usually good at getting these baits available rapidly? Are these baits popular to the point I gotta get them in the first hour of their availability? How quickly does he usually get them built, painted, and shipped? What are the chances of me getting my hands on two of these beauties in 3 1/2 months? Thanks for all the help guys!
  12. So on my recent delving of the Internet, I came across the mattlures tournament series, and I saw the bull head style swimbait. Now having a sever case of SOS (shiny object syndrome), these naturally caught my attention. More searches came to the benttencourt rat. Now my uncle used to use lab rats from school after the school year to catch smalies and muskies, but are bullheads any part of a bass' diet? I catch them all of the time and it just seems like the spines would prevent a bass from eating these. Anyways, question is any good experience on benttencourt rat and any idea if a bullhead swimbait is logical? Any of this worlds questions seem to be answerable by you guys
  13. Alrighty, no picture (at this moment) due to my being on a phone, so it's just another fisherman's tale for ya Recently I picked up a mattlures U2 bluegill and a mattlures baby bass and took them out an hour after they arrived. I casted right next to a big ole rock sittin up in a foot of water and WHAM, a bass hits it. Not sure if it was providence or pure luck but I pulled out 4 1/2 pig outta that spot. I could tell it wanted that lure bad because I pulled the hook on the back of lure out a few inches in front of the(pardon my bad taste) "sphincter" in the throat of the bass. Needles to say I'd be lost without ya'll and just wanted to thank you all. Solid forum, great people. Pictures comin up soon. Tight lines, and all that jazz
  14. That confirms my thoughts then, as most of my bass and my biggest ones were caught by stream mouths where the bottom went from sandy into weeds and had a slight drop-off. This also explains why I keep on catching one big ole momma in the same location every day of every year. Bass are creatures of habits, and I just need to find out what they are!
