I Bought this shellcracker because it looks awesome, but i never really got around to test or fish it, with no hook rash. so i might as well let someone else use it and catch fish on it. I'm looking for a 10" triple trout or negotiator custom. Let me know what you have. Thanks

Depends on what you want it to be, Any color usually will work. Some better than others. Black and white are definitely a favorite of mine.

I use mono because it has some stretch. Ive heard of people losing baits because of using braid.

DANG! What a confidence booster, let me tell ya' I still havent caught a hudd fish but now i'm definitely going to be fishing it more often. what ROF do you find to work the best? or does it entirely matter on the depth in which your fishing?
