I would use a rof 5 then add a huge weight. The weight in the bait wont help penetrate the grass much. But it will get tore up pretty easily.

I dont think there is a, wrong way. Heck we even punch grass with them here! Lol Its a heavy cover bait. Fish it like a spinner bait or swim jig through anything. And hold on
