    If i could catch as big of bass on the fly as others catch on swimbaits like DD's then all my gear would be up on this site for sale fly fishing for bass is so much funeven though all i catch are 1-2 pounders

    Thats the same set up i use. I have a 30# backing and fresh 20# up front, works fine for me. Mono

    Just dont buy the rapala $20 scale. Not the best idea of my life.... It decides when it wants to turn on not you, and some times it gets stuck on differnt weight settings. Go berkley i have heard way better about their scales!

    Usually I fish twice a week. You should be good with how often your changing your line. Especially if your using izorline. Pline original 20# ive had the spool on for about 2 weeks now getting ready to change
