Look familiar? Happens man just part of the game!! This mag has a stinger hook behind the top fin and the fish still missed. I watched this fish eat the bait and it attacked from the side. Rolled the bait over on its side so all the hooks were away from the fish. Nothing you can do about it just fish on. When you get the right fish the one you are really after it wouldn't have a problem getting hooks!!

Don't know if this issue has happened to anyone else yet but I experienced a issue trying to adjust rof on my 160. Seems if you choose the method of shaving the lead weight you can put a hole in your bait!! I choose to shave instead of remove the weight completely as others have mentioned and this is the result.

I have used mine pretty heavy for one swimbait season now and it seems to have lost its smoothness especially in the gears. Took it apart to check for any problems and found nothing. Guess it's just the way they are. You get what you pay for I suppose. I am going to purchase a different reel to replace it before it degrades further. It's a perfect reel in lots of ways for swimbaits it just feels like a cheap reel in the smoothness department.

I have been struggling with this same issue throwing a 250 for a couple months now.I have followers all the time and cant get a eat much less a hookup. I have had fish charging it down. Had one fish gliding back and forth tracking in its evey turn and nothing. My retrieve's have been either fast or slow no pauses or twitches. I am still trying to figure out how to get bit on the 250. Only thing I can say is don't think it because its a cheaper bait and not a 250 that is why they are only following. It has to do with being able to trigger that bite which is where skill and experience come in. Reading the attitude of each fish and reacting. Of which skills I am currently lacking. When things are right,timing,aggression they wont follow it they will crush it!! My first outting throwing a deps 250 showed me this kind of bite and since gearing up with my own equipment it has been tough for me. Keep throwing it!! It will payoff!!

Really!! Thought I was the only lucky one to have this special bait! Have you ever got bit with it? I fished with Manny Chee used his bass 250 and it didnt look like that.

It was not brand new from what I know. Although it did not look to have been thrown much no scratches or hook wear on the sides of bait.

I fished with a bass before and that one did not do this. That stinks if I had any idea this was possible I would have bought a different color. I have no confidence in the bait looking this way. Has anyone ever fixed this problem?

Its not glued I know that for sure.Took the skin off the front to check if it was film under the skin went out the next day and this is when I took the photo.
