Lets talk DOCKS! I fish a lake here in Northern California that is full of docks, most of these docks sit over 20-30 feet of water. Some sit out over deeper water. Every fall I find schools of giant largemouth suspending under the docks in the heat of the day. How would you approach these docks, loaded with trout eaters. Let's hear your strategy.. What baits? What angles? What docks do I pick out of the 100+ docks?

Shoot! Wrong thread, can an admin delete?

Hey guys sorry if this has already been covered recently. What water temps will you start/stop throwing top water swim baits? I know conventional topwater baits alot of guys won't throw them if the water is colder than 58-59. I have a feeling this is not the case for swimbaits. Thanks!

Shoot me the link where it directly talks about fishing topwater swimbaits at night during the winter? Thanks Really? The section that says "Swimbaits and Cold Water" wasn't enough of a clue? Let me fetch a spoon . . . This thread is titled "Topwaters For Winter?" viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13047 Link from the same section that also mention topwater baits: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12550 I don't think they specify 'at night' but if they bite during the day, they bite at night. I have killed with a Wake Jr on cold nights. Sorry about that, thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate it.

Will you guys fish topwater baits in the winter? Have heard several oppinions, looking for more… Thinking about throwing my shellcracker tonight on a Ninja Mission. Thanks!!

Thanks!! I will focus onthe twitch and walking. Also, when would you start throwing the Shellcracker? Soon since the spring is upon us in Cali?
-
Sorry I should have been more specific. I'm talking about the original Shellcracker without the bill.

Does your Blackdog shellcracker roll, and not wake if you reel too fast. I'm talking anything more than BARELY creeping it in. It wants to roll on me and the tail stops kicking. Thanks guys

Hey guys. I'm somewhat new to swimbaiting. I was wondering what your go to's are when the water gets a little murky. Thanks!
