  1. Very nice review carl. Thanks for taking the time to do it.
  2. Very nice of you Tim! Merry Christmas to you and yours.
  3. The 867 is a great rod but there rating system is a little embellished. I can throw up to 7 oz comfortably but anything more feels overloaded. Remember, everybody will have a different opinion depending on what feels right to them but ideally I think a Deps 250 is about it on that rod for most
  4. Congratulations and merry Christmas guys! Make sure to post some pics of the slobs you catch!
  5. Deps 250 and just recently the jsj siren swimmer. I'm really digging the siren swimmer
  6. The addiction has to be fed!! I bought 4 of them, thanks for the heads up.
  7. I have the 908, 867, 806, and 795 all with kigan guides and never had noise issues or any other problems with them going into my 5th year of heavy use. I use 25 lb big game on all of them. They are great rods and you can't go wrong with these or the new xp's with fujis IMO.
  8. Check out keepinitreelfishing on YouTube. He did a review on this bait a while ago. His reviews are top notch and unbiased. I'm sorry but I have no idea how to post links , a 6 year old knows more about computers then me!
  9. Sorry for your loss Swimbo. I'm sure we will all keep you in our prayers.
  10. Real Prey Swimbaits are the best IMO! Quality materials, great customer service, and Joe can make just about any special color you want. I would love to try the burritos but they seem hard to come by at least from their website.
  11. Realprey alewife is a smallmouth killer! I-slide 185, Deps 175, and Deps 250 and jsj siren glide for the donkeys! I've been blown away by how smallies will attack a big glidebait.
  12. Only on the rear hook of a Lunker punker for me. I get rid of them on everything else because to me they just don't look natural. I think it really comes down to if you have confidence with or without the feathers .
  13. I use size 6 hyper wire split rings and 2/0 owner st36 front and back. Hope that helps
  14. 9" for sure and paint or no paint that thing flat out gets bit!
  15. 9" slammer, 8 or 10" triple trout, hudd, mattlures hardgill is a good start. They will catch'em anywhere !
  16. Size 6 owners for the deps. Like the other guys said keep sizes 5-8 on hand and you'll be covered. Tight lines!
  17. The more the better! If it's getting rash it's catching bass
  18. Me slammer, alpha rat, and floating cut tail triple trout works well for me
  19. Slammer, deps 250, bullshooter, and a alpha rat. Good luck this weekend everybody!
  20. Bullshooter 160 has been good to me. I also like the imakatsu gillroid.
