  6. Looking to sell, or trade, a used Conquest 400. 8/10 mechanical and 7/10 cosmetically. I bought it from a member on here and used it maybe 5 times. I have about 80 yards of 80lb Power Pro spooled with 40lb mono backing. $325 to the lower 48 states. Only trade will be a Steez A TW in 6.3 or a Metanium MGL 150 B in 6.2.
  7. Two season old reel. I've added four bearings to the knobs. 8/10 mechanically and 7/10 cosmetically. It could use a cleaning but it is good for a few seasons as is. I cant find the box, but I do have the knob key. $105 tyd in the lower 48.
  8. Looking to trade these two 8" rof12 weedless Hudd for a 8" rof 16 Hudd. The white one seen water a couple of times only and in great condition. The black one have a messed up nose and I tried to repair the belly. It's not a looker. I'm not particularly about the color as long as its not black and not beat up.
  9. Looking for a Tranx 400A or HG with double paddle handle in good or new condition. Always been a Daiwa guy but thought I'll give one of these a try.
  10. Pluton 200SH with the following upgrades: Zillion 50th handle 4 knob bearings BOCA ABEC 5 SS spool bearings Cleaned and relubed at the end of last season. The worm shaft is sticky and the "Gear B" need to be changed out. I'll include that with the reel. I think I should have the box but no guarantees. $130 shipped to lower 48 via USPS.
  11. Great tips, especially regarding paint. As a beginner, we try to do too much at times like carving out gills, lips, fins, and even scales. I would say focus on the action first. Get that dialed in then move on to details. Nothing worst than a beautiful lure that swims like crap. I fish the CA Delta and I've come to learn that all the fins and scales don't matter too much when the water is fairly stained. The most I do with my lures is a generic gill and mouth and a simple paint job.
