    I just use whatever knot....if im getting anywhere near my spool i have a way bigger problem. I change my line every other trip. If you can spend a few hundred on a bait you can spend a few bucks on line in my opinion

    I tried to put up a rod i use for small swimmers seeing as tho people make numerous posts on them. Nada, just a few snarky comments about how it isnt the beef stick they like. Nice idea good luck on it

    There is no comparison to the s waver, i dont think deps is in a league of its own anymore, but the og's will always be better than an s waver

    Disagree. But the 869XH is not an Xh for bass. Its a blank meant for wahoo from the black diamond hybrid series (saltwater) so the "heaviness" rating is different. It's a 9 powered rod, but a soft tip and very versatile. I use it almost primarily for my hinkle, but i was short on an a rod for a week and used it to throw mags, hudds, og 250's.....but far out of range compared to the others you mentioned. Also a $200 blank so...

    Maui Jim uses an "X" pattern cross for their polarization and other companies use it in a "+" pattern. I've used kaenons and looked through my buddies costas a few times. Invest in some nice maui's and you're in the best shape

    Plastice vs foam, good vs really really good. Honestly the OG's (which in most cases stands for original gangster which applies well here) are just flat out better in every way
