  12. I'm with Top Ramen on the lead tape. With a bit of experimenting, I've gotten my 178F to run as a suspender , dependent on water temp...
  13. I have the Pizz Beef. Solid swim and catches fish. I'd say Pizz knows how to design a glide bait.
  14. Message Garrett Dixon on fb or search G-Ratt baits. He took over for sales and manufacturing for Jason Kincanon.
  15. Same thing happened with my Lexa 5:1. Brought it back to Daiwa 3 times and it still doesn't engage all the time... I'd say 1/6 casts, it will just slip and not go into gear.
  16. Aside from my passion for fishing, my love for music and djing has taken priority as of late. With that being said, I'll be up in SF the weekend of Sep 11 and I'm hosting a record sale pop up shop @ ISSO San Francisco in the Mission District off 19th & Guerrero. If any of y'all are as big of a record lover as I am, please come by and check out what I'm bringing up. Everything from rock, soul, jazz, hip hop, funk, latin and more. I will also be offering rare, hard to find pieces as well as a 2 for $5 bargain bin section. Been putting a lot of focus into this event, so I haven't had time to hit the water and chuck some baits... but I gotta do what keeps funding my swimbait addiction. Any questions? Please feel free to pm me directly or post here. If any of you have a stash of records and looking to clear to some space, let me know. We might be able to figure out a buy out. Peace.
  17. Echo Park is holding some decent sized bass... MacArthur Park has some big ones, but parking sucks there. It's funny when people classify the area the way it's been described in previous posts. There's a lot of white folk in the neighborhood these days. So you know what that means... It's gotta be safe... right? Works for me tho. The less people that fish it, the better for the locals. If you don't bring attention to yourself, you'll be fine. You'll have more people approach you cuz you're throwing the big bait, rather than to shake you down. Like with fishing, you just gotta be smart and know your surroundings.
