For #2 on your list: They defined the colors (each having an associated additional lbs) based on state record. The SU admins decided that MA and GA are the exception to the rule and their colors (additional granted lbs) were not based on their state records. GA should clearly not be held to George's standard so I agree with that one. For #1 on your list: The actual definition of a swimbait is about as clear as mud, but if you spend enough time on this site you can get a feel for what people consider to be swimbaits and what they don't. When I'm fishing in the tourney I tend to only fish baits that are widely accepted as swimbaits and stay away from the money minnows and banjo minnows. If SU decided to define it one day then more power to them but that's not an easy task. Save yourself the headache and keep the questionable lures at home. That's just my opinion. This guy named Matt who owns Reel Kustoms does a ton of reel-y tricky stuff with reels and does most of his own fabrication of parts. This guy dreams about doing different sh!t to reels in his sleep. He mainly does work for a small market of competition distance casters but I asked him your question and he said that he could do it. Each person is allowed a week and nobody has held it for longer than that in the last 10 turns or so. Bassfever had it for a week and Midsouth Swimbaits had it for a week. Add 2 separate shippings for a total of 6 days and there's your 20 days. Please trust that I'll keep this thing moving in a timely manor or update you if someone is holding things up. Also I don't find it necessary to post a long updated list every time someone gets added. I keep an updated list that I post after a few turns so that I don't spam the thread but also keep everyone updated. If I or someone else has not posted something in a while and you have an itching desire to know the slammer's whereabouts then shoot me a PM, I check the site almost daily. Lastly, I cannot force someone to post an update about the slammer when they have it; I can only strongly encourage them to (which I do).Thank you for your patience fellas

I hear what you're saying Tanner but how do you suggest we address the issue? Have everyone in here band together and boycott his baits until he learns his lesson, meanwhile the flippers have a free-for-all? Have nadiesmom call his parents? We have no leverage to change his tendencies so we are left with a very simple decision to make: buy his baits expecting to wait beyond his quoted delivery time or don't. My fingers are crossed that his communication improves with time, but I certainly won't be losing any sleep over it in the meantime.

Well I was only able to get her out for 2 trips, but it was an awesome experience and really cool to be a part of this. It's nice knowing that I get to help facilitate getting more people exposed to this thing and experiencing what it's all about. Anyway, here's the very brief fishing report: I took her out for about a 3.5 hour night session within an hour of getting it in the mail (I pretty much pulled out of the driveway right behind the mailman) with everythingthatswims and only got ahold of the one smaller fish. Then I wasn't able to fish again until earlier this week and as you saw in the screen shot I posted, the fish gods blessed me with a beautiful window to hit the water with. Work a half of a day on Tuesday and fished from 1230-2030 with a few dinks early including one that wasn't much bigger than the slammer itself and as I was getting pictures of that little guy to share with you all, I accidentally bounce passed my phone into the lake . . . any way luckily I had my gopro for pictures and I finally stuck a good one right before quittin time! All fish came on a slow steady retrieve even though I had plenty of pops, twitches and deadsticking thrown in the mix. None of the fish came unglued and I didn't miss a single hit so I figured the hooks were still good from whoever switched em last, but the tail kept tearing all day and luckily I had some mend-it on me to do repairs about 4 different times. I replaced the tail the next day with a green MS slammer tail I had lying around so if anyone has a rainbow trout tail, please feel free to donate it.
