    These are the older s-wavers. The two wooden pins in the tail is the giveaway. The new models have a single, metal pin in the tail.

    Keep the jig hook. Run a stinger down the back off the jig hook. I have stopped throwing with a belly hook because when a largemouth eats it can really mess it up. I’m pretty amazed how the big spots can still eat the jig hook, but the spots will also hit the back of the bait

    Two lots for sale: #1 lot: OG 250 (Mercury) and Phoney: $300 obo 250 color is known for peeling as seen in pic. Phoney has hook points and is XS #2: (2) shine glide 180s, (2) 168’s, and (2) 200’s. Hook points in different levels. The 200’s have paint sanded off chin. - $100 Please look at pictures for hook points and other rash. Baits get fished. Thanks, Isaac

    The second 250 pic has a drop shot weight attached to the rear hook hanger. And I have had issues with not getting hooks into fish on a 250. So I’ve played around with some hook placement

    I throw 8/0 beast hooks on 15 lb fluoro around grass. Check your line. Just be ready to set the hook hard with the rod. But you can still pull in a good bit of line with that rod on a hook set.
