    I encourage any one who wants to do it to give it a shot. It is tough, and it’s a huge leap of faith, but so worth it. I had to quit my job. And most people on trail do too. But I also understand everyone’s job prospects are different. As are everyone’s responsibilities.

    Hiking/backpacking. Saw that listed above a few times I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail last year. Georgia to Maine, 2192 miles. I still get out and day hike or hike over the weekend. And try to get one multi-night in every year.
