Does he usually ship USPS? If you missed my earlier post, it's shipping to an old address but usps will forward it. Trying not to bother him over my dumb mistake. If it's UPS/Fedex, I'll probably end up trying to contact him or will contact the new residents.

First off, I may be wrong about this being an "original" Castaic, but I have no idea what to call it, a picture is posted (put a 9 inch slammer for size reference). I got this bait a couple years ago, knowing very little about it. I believed it to be a wake bait and got to talk to butch at the 2015 classic for a couple hours. I know he liked these baits, but I hadn't thrown mine yet and was still new to swimbaiting, so I didn't soak in all the info. Big mistake, either way, mine wakes at super super super slow speeds. I mean turn the reel handle one turn and it tries to dive. Is this normal and it is supposed to be fished this slow? Mine with dive to 8-10 feet with pretty minimal effort (on the 5.4:1 Revo NaCl). One of the things I remember Butch telling me was this one one with a "big" head or "fat" head, or something along those lines. Just trying to figure out the best way to fish this sweet bait. Actually an injected version. Finally got an OG, but going to need a color change before it sees a bunch of hours in the water.

I was gonna post a 250 that I have probably 100+ hours on... But they just don't show hook rash easily. No eyes, but that happened in the first could hours. Some teeth marks too from my PB (8 1/2 lb). Amazing how well the skin holds up

Found the real big bait during my move. Little bit of rash was from Nessy a couple years back. The 250s just came in, thanks to DanD-Jigs for the easy transaction.

If anyone wants to sell their new ones, send me a message. Had pretty good luck with mine but may have just got a good one. But I like tinkering with things (my first one didn't really need any though).
