I think his baits are well built fish catching machines. So what if it pinks up a lil bit or turns yellow slightly over time. If somebody doesn't like a bait because of that -then don't buy them. leave them for the rest of us to fish!! And maybe they should stick to indoor activities. The bait maker makes they're baits a certain way and im sure they do not appreciate somebody's half a minute idea suggestion on how it could be done better especially when they spent countless time designing the bait. Im on hps with this one you should of just sold it to somebody and turned a profit then put them on blast to everybody for something so little and is designed into that bait

does anybody wkow what drt nut is used for the daiwa luna and the daiwa shrapnel?

For about 350ish on ebay you can buy just the handle with NO knobs on it but It does include the bottom shafts that you need to complete you handle setup except the mounting nut/ bolt for the reel. Sounds like you already have the know caps and grips you want so why not instead of waiting? Beats spending 550 for everything on eBay lol

Andrew209 I believe the what you bought was the outside part of the knob or rims on a 2 peice setup. The inside shafts are what you need as well.

It would fail miserably. Not bashing on your post but most people like me wanna get the most I can get for selling my swimbaits and related gear. And on the flip side of things if I really wanted a hard to get rare bait I'll spend whatever amount it takes to obtain it. Makes the hunt more exciting besides fishing with it.

That's what o thought too!! It was right under $300. Has a non slip top you can stand on it too to give you more casting height or view in a boat. Extremely durable. The guy drive his truck on one and it held up the weight without a problem. And 1st and foremost it has a place you can put a pad lock on it so the lil 2yr old baby dont get bit by any hooks!

No. But when I do have my earbuds in I do seam to get more bigger bites- almost like what somebody stated earlier- maybe fishing one spot more methodically and longer I supose

I have a shrapnel and I wish I could say I love it but ide be lying. My luna 253 though can cast a nice ol distance and just feels right in my hands. The sharpnel has many more bearings, looks really nice on the rod but lacks in comfortably as far as palming or casting to me. Sharpnel is built like a tank and you do feel it. The gears have a meshing feeling when reeling as well. The only baitcaster I have from shimano is a Calais DC and theirs no comparison in smoothnes. But then again it's a 200 size reel vs a 3-400 size reel. If I was you ide go with a luna 300 or try one at least. And just upgrade the handle for a longer one with bearings and nice knobs of you liking.
