    Been fishing the Tyrant a lot lately with not much to show for it. Well that changed yesterday when an 11.3 pound bass inhaled the bait on the surface. Biggest bass I've caught on the surface. The bass have had a HUGE school of trout pushed back into a cove that is extremely shallow for almost 3 weeks now. I've been catching fish there but the biggest was around 5 pounds.     Not a true travel rod, but to your point its a 2 piece with a removable butt section. It will come with a rod wrap for both pieces that you use to transport the rod in 2 pieces.
