    The fishing gods must have known I was on the verge of throwing everything into the lake, buying a bow and a tree stand and pick up hunting instead of fishing! 6 lbs 2 oz on the BBZ Rat in morning glory!

    My brother (Ace of Bass) and I hit up a big recently trout stocked lake yesterday. 7 hours later we had no bass to show for it. We could see the fish by the shore but couldn't entice them to hit anything. We packed up the yaks, and he talked me into trying one last spot. It's been an ugly year for me so far, having landed zero picture worthy fish until today. I casted the BBZ Rat right next to a small patch of lily pads and this big girl crushes it! Beat my last years PB by over a pound!
