exactly what cody said happened to one of my pats I didn't bother trying to get it off I bought another box and keep my hard and soft baits separate and when they are not in use I hang them on opposite sides of my storage box

just like everyone is saying u gotta find that "special" bait that is proven for you mine is a 316 gill that bait has caught more fish than I can count straight up numbers bait if I feel I'm gonna get the skunk I'll tie that on knowing it's probably gonna b a rat but who cares no one likes a skunk lol

Went out for a couple hours yesterday I never fish the gill rof 5 (due to swimming on its side) threw it into an opening in the lilies let it sink felt a bump gave it a couple of reel pumps and killed the bait then she absolutely smashed it! Went 4-3 on the scale

Took my boy out to my honey hole set him up with a hudd minnow on his avengers pole there for 30 mins no action so I pull anchor to move us he takes one more cast BOOM he's on!! Next thing I know the bass is jumping like crazy I'm trying to tell him to keep his rod tip down (try explaining that to a 5yr old while he's fighting a fish) only thing I could think about is that it was gonna snap his line cuz I never upgraded it. Finally get it to the boat I lip her and he's stoked!! New pb and first "swimbait" fish couldn't be anymore proud!!!
