  1. Let’s make it happen man.
  2. Hey guys I’m moving to charlotte for a new job. Curious if anybody roughly in the area was lookin to fish? If you got a backseat, you should know I’m really good at paying ur gas lol. I’m also super down to shore bang. Lmk Thanks SU.
  3. If anybody wants to split I’d buy the bugle lip.
  4. Hey SU I have a couple hawghunters and was wondering if anyone you knew a good way to convert it to a rof 0 so I can get it to run right under the surface? Any tips would be appreciated.
  5. This my opinion on your question. We want to hook them on the jig hook without a doubt, if you set the hook expecting to hook them on the treble hook then you have drastically decreased the likely hood that you will land them on the jig hook. No matter what you do on the hook set your odds of landing a fish on a small treble hook with 6oz of bait smith swinging around and xh rod are just not good. At the end of the day you’ve tailored your whole set up to landing fish on a jig hook so bet on hooking them with it, if you don’t then a lot of those fish will come off or bend out but at least you had a shot. Once you realize a fish is hooked on the stinger you can play the fish much softer but until then I always assume I have them hooked well on the jig hook. Just my 2c.
  6. If anyone needs a partner and someone to split gas/entry fees shoot me a pm. I’d love to participate
  7. Whats up SU, I have a question about rigging soft baits if I know I'm going to be putting my bait Infront of a bunch of spotted bass. This winter my goal is to beat my spotted bass PB which is currently 5-4. I just purchased a few baitsmith mags and am wondering if I should leave the jig hook and run a stinger or cut it off and Butch brown/working class zero rig my magnum. In largemouth fisheries i never remove the jig hook but im worried that some of the spots looking at my bait wont be able to get their mouth around the jig hook? If my spotted bass swimbait guys could chime in that would be great. Thanks for your time guys, Matt
  8. Honestly man its a higher quality Huddleston. It is as simple as that. Fish it how you would a hudd and commit. You can boil or add sent if you would like but im gunna tell you that a fisherman has got to be doing a lot of other things perfect before that is going to make a difference.
  9. I think it important for us to stop bending over backwards for these bait makers. I don't necessarily agree with the bait drop process being a sign of poor customer appreciation but I will say this there is CLEARLY a problem with the way 90% of bait makers go about their business. As an example I just recently received my taxi trout from fish everything. When I purchased the bait I was told it would arrive December 20th, it got here February 4th.... That's almost a month and a half after I was told I would receive it. Now am I but hurt over the month extension, no, but the fact that we never received updates is completely inexcusable for a bait that's in the triple digits. Hell he never even responded to my DMs. This is not to call out fish everything by any means and I have had similar issues with most bait makers. It is soooo easy to get on your social media (the same one you post prototypes that will never come to market everyday) and put up a video explaining the delay. This alone is the driving factor behind why I support toxic baits I feel like I always know what is going on with his process and I can get my hands on a new bait if I happen to lose my daily driver. To get back to the original post, I don't think there's anything wrong with calling these people out for lack of transparency when it is so easy to do in todays age.
  10. I think what bothers me most about googan baits and their followers is their poor design. I'm not sure if anybody saw the recent chatter bait they out out with but that baits design is terrible the blade and wire construction will absolutely hinder the ability for big fish to get hooked (ill leave a photo for reference this is not my bait). In the context of this swimbait, it has relatively tight joints meaning that it probably cant be burned for ish. The comparison to the bullshad is entirely unwarranted as that bait was designed with speed in mind and it is this way of burning and stopping that most people find success with all multi jointed baits. People can disagree with this if they would like, but I have caught nothing of size slow rolling a multijointed bait that sinks. In fact many big manufacturers started by making cheap plastic multijointed baits because they are just that cheap to make. Their poor design reflects poor values and it drives me nutz seeing new bass fisherman with no experience under their belt preach about how great a bait is when they haven't even caught a fish on it. In other news Lunkers Tv is looking to fish the bassmaster opens.... I cant wait for him to see what real anglers look like.
