  1. Pro: Bearings are great (used in salt and mostly fresh). Knobs are long (no fumbling) Light weight (real carbon fiber is used) Con: Depending on which model you get, glossy or matte, the gloss seems to fade. -Been copied so you can get a cheaper one thats almost identical.
  2. LDC MH for short casts H for bomb casts. i got a nfc 807 blank wrapped by Horizon Rod Works which been pretty sweet with the k9 class baits as well.
  3. They got some really great blanks! that cork and red are just beautiful in person. i have the 4.3lts telescoping for bfs micro baits. That rod handled a 6lb largie with ease. I also have the beams lower 7.3L PE2 so about a 20lb line rod. That thing keeps fish pinned for sure as well. Fishman is a great company with great form and function. I wouldn't hesitate when it comes to their big bait rods as well. The only downside, is that if there is any "mishaps" it will be pretty hard to get a replacement.
  4. Try using the new style EVA flat knobs... if you cant find em, drt usa has the normal eva knobs now
  5. why not, try it! but for that price though.. would you really be checking all that data? ain't no shame in my swim bait game. $40 kast king sparticus throws 2oz baits just fine.
