Hey guys, I have a few lakes with some nice lily pad and weed edges that surround the entire shoreline, along with docks and cattails mixed in. Do any of you fish baits along these edges? I was thinking about throwing a hard gill, rat, or slammer along the pad/cattail edge and around docks. Just wondering what type of swim bait you would recommend. I don't think glides would be as effective, but i could be wrong. I would go out and experiment more but i only go to this lake a couple times a year.

Do any of you guys regularly throw hudds during the summer? Would i be better off with another soft bait such as an osprey or rising son which have the boot tail? Thanks

I plan on doing that, just looking for an idea where to start

Hey guys, I am heading out to a small(120 acre) lake this coming weekend. The bass just started spawning 1-1.5 weeks ago. The lake is fed by a river and the river then flows into a big lake. The whole lake is surrounded by pads, reeds, brush, and fallen trees on the shoreline. The shoreline averages 2-3ft The main lake has the same cover around the shoreline and averages about 5-6 feet. There is one spot with deep holes about 8-9 feet. This area also has a nice point that extends close to the deepest area. How would you fish this? Will the bass be moved to deeper water? Should i be fishing a slammer and bouncing a hudd adjacent to the deep areas? Should i be fishing a hard gill parallel to the bank? I'm confused. The bass are unpredictable by me right now... I have a deps 250, slammer, TT, rat, hardgill, Gan craft 230, etc… any baits you could recommend i throw!

Thanks! What are some of your favorite areas to fish it? I'm assuming in wood and around the shoreline right?

Hello! I was wondering how much these baits cost. Also, have any of you had success with them? They seem pretty cool but would it be worth it to buy one as opposed to another top water like a rat?

How can you buy one of these?
