I love my 9inch ,It's a sick bait . Catches fish when other baits can't. But I have never used the 12inch . But definitely pick up a 9inch slammer for sure.
I feel the rod is much more sensitive , better made, and gives you more leverage. That's why prefer the dobyns . It's well worth the money in my opinion .
I personally feel like the guideselect a has a softer tip than the original guide selects. Either one should work . But the dobyns 867 is sweeeeet ! Just got mine in a couple of days ago . Haven't been able to fish it yet due to family issues but . I will say it feels like a feather compaired to a brick in my opinion ! But the guide select is a great tod and is what I started with .
Note : the rods just have reels on them no Swimbait when I compared it .
I also will metion I clean my reels after fishing every time . And still have the issue . Casting off Two $100+ baits ( mag and 250 ) is enough for me to buy a different reel . I'm done with the lexA 300 . It's just my experience with them
I just casted of a deps 250 this weekend becuase the reel locked up in mid cast into 35 feet of water was pretty pissed . But better yet I did it to my baitsmith mag about 20 min later... Not to happy with my lexA 300 at all

I got a golden shiner hinkle shad . That was supposed to be here in September ... Still NOT here . No emails answered . But other then that I got a couple buffs , some tw gift cards , cash , hook covers , owner hooks .
Good bait . Buy some mend-it off tacklewharehouse . ( use the win bait underground link at the top of the page !) and it's not that the bait isn't durable but it is a soft bait so it doesn't last the same as a hardbait. Stay away from super glue ! Nice bait you got have fun with it !
