The paint looks awesome! I've always been intrigued by the shasta trout colorway. Does anybody have a picture of a trout with a hue that blue?

I'm not sure what the hold up is, he says he is waiting until the baits are "perfect" but he has been constantly putting up pictures of fish being caught on all of them all the time. I know personally I could have really used that glide this fall and I decided against getting a different gizzard glide because I chose to wait for the 3:16. I guess I am just naive but what else could there be to tune on a bait that has been consistently catching fish for months on months? I'm not sure how much longer I will wait...

I strictly throw the palomar but after hearing all the votes for the SDJ I'm going to have to look into that!

'99 Ranger 488VS, in this pic it had the original motor, an Evinrude 175 Ficht before I dropped a cylinder in it on Kentucky Lake in March. Now it has a new 200hp E-Tec and I love it. HDS 7 Touch at the front and and an HDS 8 Gen 2 at the console.

I've also been looking at the Pizz Shadley... because I'm sure that I'll never get my hands on a HPH

Outfish it in numbers or outfish the smaller baits by size of the catch?

I've got a Deps 175 and buying a negotiator tomorrow, just not sure wether to get the albino, Ayu, or okiwamesu!! I was looking for more of a shad profile bait and maybe even a bluegill.

I've been looking around at shad glides and I see a lot of great looking baits but I'm not sure which one I should get and was looking for a bit of feedback. I'm more of a tournament angler and most of my home lakes don't have fish over 7-8lbs in them so I'm not looking for the monstrous baits either, something more in the 6-7" range(to help build confidence before stepping up to the bigger baits). I've looked at the HPH 6", fatback herring glide, and I'm wondering about waiting for the 3:16 glide to come out. Any help is appreciated guys.

Recently out on the lake with my buddy he decided to come stand on the front deck with me. I left a bit too much line out and went to make a big overhand cast and the back treble hook caught his hat and pulled it clean off of his head. He didn't feel a thing!!

Here is my collection so far I started swimbaiting about 5 months ago so I think I've got most of my bare essentials! Still hunting for that elusive 3:16 though :roll:

I personally own one of the new deluxe gills. The paint looks great, the bait swims great. I have had 6 bites on it but only landed one fish and it was probably one of the smallest of the six bites(the biggest being around 6). The bait has small chunks coming out of the resin from what I assume to be just hitting the water because I have not fished it around rocks. Not sure if anybody else has had the problem with the hookup ratio. I have not owned a Mattlures Hardgill so I can't compare the two but if I had to choose, I would pick the hardgill just because it is proven.

What is the hitch colored bait at the top right hand corner?

This is perfect. I can wait to get my hand on a few of these and see what different color patterns will be available. It does seem small though. I would love an 8'' version of the bluegill next Ken!

I have more bravery than brains sometimes and I have used the suction cup mount on my outboard going 60mph and have had no issues(yet )

Awesome video!! I too am from the midwest and I love seeing other people in this area that are breaking the mold and chucking the big baits! Congrats on those fish too!!
