    Hey, really been narrowing down on my style of swimbaits and gear. This hiro swims great but it's not quite my style. Looking to trade it for a 316 fs shad or gill glide. Those only. The Abu Garcia revo toro 60 is about 8 months old, caught probably 10 fish. I can bomb anything with it, smooth and the power handle has well, power. I'm looking for any low profile swimbait reel in a slower ratio. I will throw in cash or baits if your reel is nicer. Four six nine 995-5691

    Pms replied.. Still looking for looking for a Gill with orange in it. Had three people ask what the brown/orange spot is on the bottom of the bait. I Dipped a tail in jjs Magic, stood up to cast and watched the yellow Magic drip onto HPH. It has gotten better, it was brighter. Anyways I've caught both fish after I got the magic on it. Still works just fine

    I've tried to make this lure fit into my arsenal and I just can't get the confidence in this bait to put the others down. I've caught two fish on it, no skipping no hard impacts. I'd say 10/10 but just because its caught fish, 9/10. I am looking to trade for a 316 FS gill, glide gill, hiro godzilla or a newer edition HPH in a sinkrate faster than slow. This HPH is a 9" SLOW SINK. I don't want to sell right now. Trades for what I listed only. Text for pics or I will put them up when I get home. (four six nine) 995- 5691

    I would for sure get a longer handle. If you plan on throwing a 250 for hours you will want the handle. On the other hand, all Orochi rods are light and sensitive as hell. Great rods.

    Make sure your line to the split ring/hook or hook directly is not too loose or tight, makes a big difference in the tears you will get.

    Well certain swimbaits have a swim that relates to a specific baitfish. The huddleston/baitsmith magnum is a great trout imitation, the HPH/316/Phoney/Burrito Shad/Bullshad are all great shad imitations. Mattlures gill/Bullshooter/Rago gill/gillrilla are all great sunfish imitations. Paddletails I like the 316 RS/D&M 9"/ Rago weedless/Keitech and for rat/rodent I find it hard to get away from my slammer and baby wake. Everyone has their own opinion, those are the ones I go for first.

    I got the Revo Toro S power handle a bit ago and I really wasn't too impressed with the casting compared to my Lexa and Shimano calcutta. I tore it apart to re-lube it and see if I could give it some life. Realized that it has a washer in the tension spool knob, no bearing. I took it out and put a ceramic 5x10 bearing in there. Ended up replacing all the bearings as the factory grease/lube they put on the bearing was just caked. The reel casts great now, I had to tighten the tension knob and the external brake dial to settle it down. Highly recommend doing this if you have this reel, you can get the bearings from China... here,http://www.ebay.com/usr/hobbybearingstore?_trksid=p2047675.l2559. Just make sure you get the correct size. Hope this helps.

    Thinning the heard. OG wood white/pearl punker and a 10" 316 wake in bass color. Both are in great shape, punker has 3 fish on it and pics show the tiny bit of teeth rash. 10" has 0 fish on it, 10/10. Not in a rush to sell, they can continue to hang on wall. Paid 75 for punker and shoot me offers for either. Only interested in trading for new Burrito baits or conventional reels/rods. Not interested in beat up stuff.     Been catching some decent fish lately, not all on swimbaits but I did get two nice ones the big baits. Looking forward to fish moving out a little deeper, everything has been shallow here. The night bite has been unreal.

    Don't overthink it. Get something that somewhat resembles your local forage and focus more on your presentation to the fish than the color. I promise.
