  2. No promises I can let any go... but how much is it worth to you?
  3. The Carp/Golden Shad colored 3:16 bait is a wake bait measuring in at 9.75" and weighing 6oz. It is commonly known as a BAA which is short for "Born Again Armageddon" This particular bill angle makes it more of a wake bait. The original color of this bait listed I'm unsure as it has been repainted by Baitwerks... The same guy Mickey Ellis - (Owner and bait maker of all 3:16s) later contracted out to paint his latest run of Bluegill Freestyles. This paint job however is not likely factory paint, from Mickey's authorization, however it looks fishy (in a good way) and is at a great price. The BAA moves water & attracts attention, drawing in fish and gets bit. Make no mistake about it I would of already added it to my collection if I could of swung it when first posted. Hard to believe it's still up. Swoop it before I do.
  4. I might be down to let a BAA go... Let me think on it:)

  17. Selfishly I rather folks didn't know, lol - but sounds like the secrets getting out:) ...I pull winter fish on top water. My first I Pulled from deep water with what I call a Pie Slice cast that ultimately results in creating a funnel on My First Blue-Trout Wake Jr. Years ago... It was around Thanksgiving early December, I saw what seemed like the fishes silhouette like 45-50 feet away when the bait was on sauntering lazily back in on a dumb slow retrieve maybe 17ft. from the back at that point. I was geeking out on the fishy action extra confidant by the potential promise of commitment... If that ominous dark subsurface figure I saw was in fact my sought quarry, I couldn't track it given the failing light at dusk and its reflection on the water... Right as the bait seemed trapped by a branch pile leering into the lake from shore, There was a violent toilet flush and instant tension and thrashing about. I've been a believer ever since cold water be damned... I've always fished from the gut... And moments like that, where in the heart of winter your fingers hate you and I had to wear a ski mask with a scarf & beanie to protect my self from and face from the elements... Where I've become hypothermic swimming to retrieve Hudds... There are in fact willing fish to be had. Slowing things way down in general seems advantageous in general... implementing lots of pauses, but don't be afraid to throw in an moderate to fast erratic retrieve as Trout thrive in cold water and act the same even when temperatures drop in fact they prefer it. I will be out on the hunt along with you bud. My brother and I will be on the water as well and I will be throwing my Mattlures Trout Glide:) Keep us posted, and Good Luck!
