[Rhode Island 6.3, Tied PB]

Tied my PB last week with this 6.3 on the new updated Spro BBZ Rat. I almost lost her when she dove deep and went under my yak.

Yes they do. Sadly the SPRO's aren't available right now. My Rat 50 is in a tree right now! That thing gets bit all day. I got a sweet replacement though (CL8 Baby Possum); I keep her away from the trees!

Night fishing in the Yak. We were out all night with no hits. It was a half moon but it didn’t show up till after midnight. It was dark as hell. I put down my MH rod and big baits and tossed the smaller SPRO rat on my spinning rod because that usually catches something. 

Sure enough on my second cast she nailed it and fought all the way to the net. I would rather catch her on a Possum,  Slammer, or Roman but I will take a new PB any day!

Nice fish! Looks like you've put that Slammer to work! I like it. I have several Slammers and my oldest most beat up one is what catches all the fish!! Was is caught from the bank? Congrats.

Exactly! The landing/netting is never guaranteed. Worse is you get them in the yak but lose them before you get a weight. Only a yak'er would understand lol.

Risky but Perfect cast right in the sweet spot of a downed tree (seen in background). As soon as the BBZ Rat hit the water she hit it like a freight train. Great fight in the yak. I thought she was a PB but realized I was using a lighter rod so she felt  way bigger. Scary but a lot of fun on the lighter rod.
